The series of around 50 untitled key works on graph paper from 2006 marks the official starting point of Clemens Hollerer’s artistic career. Created at the beginning of his postgraduate studies at the Belgian HISK - Higher Institute for Fine Arts, the artist used a photograph taken during his urban discovery tours in cities such as Antwerp, Rotterdam or Amsterdam as a starting point. Hollerer observed construction zones and revealed their uniqueness as a space. The breach in what is otherwise a systematically constructed cityscape, its provisional character and perpetual movement hold the promise of excitement, the raw and unfinished.

Selected works of this series are still available.
